How dare Corden have a good laugh with someone from the Trump Administration? This is how Spicer is “normalized,” or something.
After his social media replies flooded with upset leftist snowflakes, Corden pathetically attempted to placate the masses with a humorous apology, but an apology nonetheless.
“Now, I know you think that’s a picture of me kissing Sean Spicer,” Corden joked. “But in the spirit of Sean Spicer, no, it isn’t.”
The Late Late Show host also called Spicer an “ass” and reiterated that he was regretful of the earnest moment.
“Anyone ever have that feeling when you get a little drunk and then wake up the next morning and think, ‘Oh God, who did I kiss last night?’ It’s a bit like that,” he said. “To be fair, everyone was kissing a** last night at the Emmys. I just happened to kiss the biggest one there.”
