Graham Blames Republicans Over Crime Reform

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) insisted that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) bring the criminal justice reform bill up to vote.

Graham stated, “I’m urging Mitch McConnell, put this bill on the floor. If you put it on the floor, we’ll get 80 votes. We’ll get most Republicans and almost all Democrats. Let’s do it before the end of the year, and the president is behind it. So Mr. president, pick up the phone and call the Republican leadership of the House and the Senate and say we still run this place. Bring this bill to the floor. Senator Cotton can have his say, and we’ll vote him down.”

He also added, “Let’s start 2019 on a positive note. I’m urging Senator McConnell to bring the bill to the floor of the Senate. It would get 80 votes. Mr. President, pick up the phone and push the Republican leadership. The Republicans are the problem here, not the Democrats.”

Republicans seem unwilling to do anything in Congress when they ruled both houses. Now with the loss of the House they have an excuse to do nothing. Why with the majority hasn’t the wall been started or funded? Seems like a lot of them hate Trump as much as the liberals.

No wall and no healthcare reform because there are too many RINOs, like Corker, Flake and McCain, were there to vote it down.

If the Wall had been built we wouldn’t have hundreds of illegals trying get into America. Who do the Republicans answer to? Americans or outsiders.

        • BH

RINOs want to be liked by inside the beltway people, like Dems and media. Thus they think they should be bipartisan and go along with them. The problem is in the definition of “bipartisan “. To the Democrat Party it means: Republicans doing what Democrats want the Republicans to do. And the media hates the RINZos just as much anyway.

Yes Dodie and we are the losers. I’m both ashamed and disheartened by my Republican party. It looks like both sides are trying to destroy us. I guess a One World order appeals to everyone except the American people, or at least some of us. Being governed by the United Nations is not my idea of a win win situation.

If ever there was a case for term limits, here it is. No one should have a career as a politician.

Apparently the Republicans are too busy putting criminals back on the streets!
